Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Some Day No.2(Painted In 2002) by Chen Wenbo was sold in the The Schoeni Family Collection auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2017. The price achieved of HKD 84,960.00 (€ 9,350.85) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 60,000.00 – 100,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chen Wenbo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chinesetest No.10 in October 2008 with an auction result of EUR 475,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Some Day No.2(Painted In 2002) von Chen Wenbo wurde im Oktober 2017 in der Auktion The Schoeni Family Collection bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 84.960,00 (€ 9.350,85) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 60.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chen Wenbo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Chinesetest No.10 im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 475.000,00.
