In the Fine American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture auction, the work Pine Trees at Dusk sold for USD 14,400.00 (€ 11,942.28) - well above the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Charles Warren Eaton; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot A winter landscape sold at auction in February 2005 with the realized price of USD 31,200.00 (€ 23,504.60).
