It achieved a price of USD 4,080.00 (€ 4,170.50), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Admittedly, works by Charles Warren Eaton have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A winter landscape in February 2005 with an auction result of USD 31,200.00 (€ 23,504.60).
