This artwork by Charles Warren Eaton achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in September 2005. In the THE HOUSE SALE auction, the work November, Montclair sold for USD 11,400.00 (€ 9,454.30) - well above the upper estimate of USD 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Charles Warren Eaton - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A winter landscape, which sold at auction in February 2005 for USD 31,200.00 (€ 23,504.60).
