Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2010 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction European Noble and Private Collections incl. Fine Paintings, which included the work A moment of rest by Charles Rochussen. The price achieved of EUR 1,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles Rochussen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Stadholder William III inspecting the troups at Hinderschans in April 2003 with an auction result of EUR 10,755.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2010 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion European Noble and Private Collections incl. Fine Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit A moment of rest von Charles Rochussen zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Charles Rochussen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Stadholder William III inspecting the troups at Hinderschans im April 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 10.755,00.
