Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Notre-Dame De Paris by Charles Malle was sold in the Impressionist and Modern Art Day and Works on Paper Sale auction at Christies in London in March 2021. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 5,625.00 (€ 6,607.93). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Charles Malle - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bords de Seine à Paris, which sold at auction in June 2020 for EUR 23,750.00.

Die Arbeit Notre-Dame De Paris von Charles Malle wurde im März 2021 in der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Day and Works on Paper Sale bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 5.625,00 (€ 6.607,93) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Charles Malle mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Bords de Seine à Paris beobachtet, die im Juni 2020 für EUR 23.750,00 versteigert wurde.
