Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Armenianon The Seashore by Charles Atamian was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2008. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 12,500.00 (€ 15,113.44). Admittedly, works by Charles Atamian have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Armenian looking Out To Sea in June 2010 with an auction result of GBP 58,850.00 (€ 71,567.08).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Armenianon The Seashore von Charles Atamian kam im November 2008 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 12.500,00 (€ 15.113,44) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Charles Atamian auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Armenian looking Out To Sea im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 58.850,00 (€ 71.567,08).
