In December 2014 Sothebys in London held the auction 19th Century European Paintings, which included the work Armenian Looking Out To Sea by Charles Atamian. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 47,500.00 (€ 61,148.25), 36% above the upper estimate. Other works by Charles Atamian have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 58,850.00 (€ 71,567.08) in June 2010 for the work Armenian looking Out To Sea.
