The result of EUR 250,000.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 250,000.00 – 350,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chaïm Soutine achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Bœuf in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 28,165,000.00 (€ 25,618,519.19).

Die Arbeit Nature Morte Verte von Chaïm Soutine wurde im März 2019 in der Auktion Collection Marcel Arland : Dans L’Amitié des Peintres bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 250.000,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 250.000,00 – 350.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chaïm Soutine erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Bœuf im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 28.165.000,00 (€ 25.618.519,19).
