The work Ritratto femminile by Cesare Monti was sold in the Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX secolo auction at Il Ponte in December 2021. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,500.00 50% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Cesare Monti have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Figura Con Berretto Nero in June 2008 with an auction result of EUR 11,250.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Ritratto femminile von Cesare Monti wurde im Dezember 2021 in der Auktion Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX secolo bei Il Ponte versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.500,00 und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Cesare Monti auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Figura Con Berretto Nero im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 11.250,00.
