Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2021 Il Ponte held the auction Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX secolo, which included the work L'ingresso alla villa by Cesare Monti. The price achieved of EUR 750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 700.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cesare Monti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Figura Con Berretto Nero in June 2008 with an auction result of EUR 11,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2021 führte Il Ponte die Auktion Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX secolo durch, in der auch die Arbeit L'ingresso alla villa von Cesare Monti zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 700,00 – 800,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cesare Monti erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Figura Con Berretto Nero im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 11.250,00.
