Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Cesare Monti achieved an unexpectedly high price at Il Ponte in May 2017. In the 19th and 20th Century Paintings and Sculptures auction, the work Piana di Dervio sold for EUR 1,900.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 700.00. Admittedly, works by Cesare Monti have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Figura Con Berretto Nero in June 2008 with an auction result of EUR 11,250.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Cesare Monti erzielte im Mai 2017 bei Il Ponte einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 19th and 20th Century Paintings and Sculptures wurde die Arbeit Piana di Dervio für EUR 1.900,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 700,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Cesare Monti auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Figura Con Berretto Nero im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 11.250,00.
