Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Composizione con cesta di frutta by Cesare Monti for EUR 800.00. This price was achieved in the auction Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX secolo at Il Ponte and was even below the estimate range of EUR 900.00 – 1,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cesare Monti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Figura Con Berretto Nero in June 2008 with an auction result of EUR 11,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Composizione con cesta di frutta von Cesare Monti für EUR 800,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX secolo bei Il Ponte erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 900,00 – 1.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cesare Monti erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Figura Con Berretto Nero im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 11.250,00.
