Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Cesare Monti could be acquired at Il Ponte in May 2017 for an unexpectedly low price. In the 19th and 20th Century Paintings and Sculptures auction, the work Balcone fiorito con affaccio changed hands for EUR 1,000.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 1,200.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cesare Monti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Figura Con Berretto Nero in June 2008 with an auction result of EUR 11,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Cesare Monti konnte im Mai 2017 bei Il Ponte für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion 19th and 20th Century Paintings and Sculptures wechselte die Arbeit Balcone fiorito con affaccio für EUR 1.000,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.200,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cesare Monti erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Figura Con Berretto Nero im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 11.250,00.
