Admittedly, works by Cesare Monti have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Figura Con Berretto Nero in June 2008 with an auction result of EUR 11,250.00.

Die Arbeit Brescia, Via Torre Della Pallata von Cesare Monti kam im Juni 2005 bei Christies in Rom zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 1.860,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 55 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Cesare Monti auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Figura Con Berretto Nero im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 11.250,00.
