Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Cecilia Edefalk could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in October last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art & Design auction, the work "Sketches for a painting", 2004 changed hands for SEK 6,000.00 (€ 549.02) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 8,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cecilia Edefalk achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Baby" in November 2010 with an auction result of SEK 5,900,000.00 (€ 644,944.77).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Cecilia Edefalk konnte im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Art & Design wechselte die Arbeit "Sketches for a painting", 2004 für SEK 6.000,00 (€ 549,02) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 8.000,00 – 10.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cecilia Edefalk erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Baby" im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 5.900.000,00 (€ 644.944,77).
