Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Rojo y Negro by Carmen Herrera was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in November last year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 6,120.00 (€ 5,928.51). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carmen Herrera achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Blanco Y Verde in March 2019 with an auction result of USD 2,900,000.00 (€ 2,582,828.64).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Rojo y Negro von Carmen Herrera kam im November letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 6.120,00 (€ 5.928,51) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carmen Herrera erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Blanco Y Verde im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.900.000,00 (€ 2.582.828,64).
