Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled Estructura (Blue) by Carmen Herrera was auctioned at Phillips in New York in November this year. The price achieved of USD 457,200.00 (€ 419,141.91) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 400,000.00 – 600,000.00. Admittedly, works by Carmen Herrera have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Blanco Y Verde in March 2019 with an auction result of USD 2,900,000.00 (€ 2,582,828.64).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled Estructura (Blue) von Carmen Herrera kam im November diesen Jahres bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 457.200,00 (€ 419.141,91) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 400.000,00 – 600.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carmen Herrera auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Blanco Y Verde im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.900.000,00 (€ 2.582.828,64).
