Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Untitled (Red and White) by Carmen Herrera was auctioned at Phillips in London in January this year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 3,276.00 (€ 3,718.31). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carmen Herrera achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Blanco Y Verde in March 2019 with an auction result of USD 2,900,000.00 (€ 2,582,828.64).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Red and White) von Carmen Herrera kam im Januar diesen Jahres bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 3.276,00 (€ 3.718,31) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carmen Herrera erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Blanco Y Verde im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.900.000,00 (€ 2.582.828,64).
