Artwork auctioned at three times the upper estimate price
The work Vue sur Nice by Carlos Nadal was worth GBP 45,360.00 (€ 53,779.39) to a buyer in March last year. This price was achieved in the auction Impressionist and Modern Art Day and Works on Paper Sale at Christies in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Carlos Nadal; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot El Molino sold at auction in February 2019 with the realized price of GBP 68,750.00 (€ 80,199.27).

Die Arbeit Vue sur Nice von Carlos Nadal war einem Käufer im März letzten Jahres GBP 45.360,00 (€ 53.779,39) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Day and Works on Paper Sale bei Christies in London erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 15.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Carlos Nadal; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit El Molino im Februar 2019 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 68.750,00 (€ 80.199,27).
