Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Carlos Nadal achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in May last year. In the Modern Art Online including Works from the Collection of Marina Picasso auction, the work L'Opera sold for GBP 16,380.00 (€ 19,269.51) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Carlos Nadal have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work El Molino in February 2019 with an auction result of GBP 68,750.00 (€ 80,199.27).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Carlos Nadal erzielte im Mai letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern Art Online including Works from the Collection of Marina Picasso wurde die Arbeit L'Opera für GBP 16.380,00 (€ 19.269,51) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carlos Nadal auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit El Molino im Februar 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 68.750,00 (€ 80.199,27).
