Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March last year Christies in London held the auction Impressionist and Modern Art Day and Works on Paper Sale, which included the work Dieppe, la plage by Carlos Nadal. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 21,420.00 (€ 25,395.82). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Carlos Nadal - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work El Molino, which sold at auction in February 2019 for GBP 68,750.00 (€ 80,199.27).
