This artwork by Carlos Nadal achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in March last year. In the Impressionist and Modern Art Day and Works on Paper Sale auction, the work Au pied des montagnes sold for GBP 40,320.00 (€ 47,803.90) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 20,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Carlos Nadal; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot El Molino sold at auction in February 2019 with the realized price of GBP 68,750.00 (€ 80,199.27).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Carlos Nadal erzielte im März letzten Jahres bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Day and Works on Paper Sale wurde die Arbeit Au pied des montagnes für GBP 40.320,00 (€ 47.803,90) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 20.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Carlos Nadal; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit El Molino im Februar 2019 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 68.750,00 (€ 80.199,27).
