Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bañistas by Carlos Enríquez was sold in the Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale auction at Sothebys in New York in November 2018. The price achieved of USD 237,500.00 (€ 209,750.07) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 220,000.00 – 280,000.00. Admittedly, works by Carlos Enríquez have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Héroe criollo in November 2016 with an auction result of USD 967,500.00 (€ 914,634.15).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Bañistas von Carlos Enríquez wurde im November 2018 in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 237.500,00 (€ 209.750,07) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 220.000,00 – 280.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carlos Enríquez auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Héroe criollo im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 967.500,00 (€ 914.634,15).
