Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Desnudo 16 3/8 x 12 1/8 in (41.6 x 30.8 cm) by Carlos Enríquez was auctioned at Bonhams in February this year. The price achieved of USD 3,825.00 (€ 3,607.81) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carlos Enríquez achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Héroe criollo in November 2016 with an auction result of USD 967,500.00 (€ 914,634.15).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Desnudo 16 3/8 x 12 1/8 in (41.6 x 30.8 cm) von Carlos Enríquez kam im Februar diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.825,00 (€ 3.607,81) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carlos Enríquez erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Héroe criollo im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 967.500,00 (€ 914.634,15).
