Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2019 Phillips in London held the auction Photographs, which included the work No title by Carlo Mollino. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 6,875.00 (€ 7,782.09). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carlo Mollino achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work An Important And Unique Dining Table in October 2020 with an auction result of USD 6,181,350.00 (€ 5,307,246.50).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2019 führte Phillips in London die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit No title von Carlo Mollino zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 6.875,00 (€ 7.782,09) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carlo Mollino erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit An Important And Unique Dining Table im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.181.350,00 (€ 5.307.246,50).
