Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Seated brunette with necklace), c. 1960–1973 by Carlo Mollino was auctioned at Christies in New York in October 2019. The price achieved of USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,964.59) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carlo Mollino achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work An Important And Unique Dining Table in October 2020 with an auction result of USD 6,181,350.00 (€ 5,307,246.50).

Die Arbeit Untitled (Seated brunette with necklace), c. 1960–1973 von Carlo Mollino kam im Oktober 2019 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 8.964,59) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carlo Mollino erzielen.
