The work Lake Powell by Carel Visser was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2019. The result of EUR 25,000.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Carel Visser - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dubbelvorm 5 (Double form 5), which sold at auction in October last year for EUR 94,500.00.

Die Arbeit Lake Powell von Carel Visser kam im November 2019 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 25.000,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Carel Visser mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Dubbelvorm 5 (Double form 5) beobachtet, die im Oktober letzten Jahres für EUR 94.500,00 versteigert wurde.
