This artwork by Carel Visser achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in May 2019. In the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction, the work without title sold for EUR 3,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carel Visser achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dubbelvorm 5 (Double form 5) in October last year with an auction result of EUR 94,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 88 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Carel Visser erzielte im Mai 2019 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für EUR 3.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.600,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carel Visser erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dubbelvorm 5 (Double form 5) im Oktober letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 94.500,00.
