Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2019 Phillips in New York held the auction 20th C. & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session, which included the work Dock III by Caragh Thuring. The price achieved of USD 15,000.00 (€ 13,612.85) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Other works by Caragh Thuring have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in September 2017 the work Phizmonger was auctioned for GBP 17,500.00 (€ 19,853.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2019 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion 20th C. & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session durch, in der auch die Arbeit Dock III von Caragh Thuring zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 13.612,85) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Caragh Thuring konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im September 2017 die Arbeit Phizmonger für GBP 17.500,00 (€ 19.853,97) versteigert.
