Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2020 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included this untitled work by Caragh Thuring. The price achieved of GBP 11,340.00 (€ 12,592.10) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Other works by Caragh Thuring have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in September 2017 the work Phizmonger was auctioned for GBP 17,500.00 (€ 19,853.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2020 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Caragh Thuring zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 11.340,00 (€ 12.592,10) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Caragh Thuring konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im September 2017 die Arbeit Phizmonger für GBP 17.500,00 (€ 19.853,97) versteigert.
