The work Silent Curse, Nada At Home, Diversionist And City Watcher (Four Works) by Cao Fei was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2009. It changed hands for a price of HKD 187,500.00 (€ 16,392.75) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 150,000.00 – 200,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Silent Curse, Nada At Home, Diversionist And City Watcher (Four Works) is the most expensive artwork by Cao Fei that we have observed at auctions so far.
