Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2016 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Asian Art, which included the work Rmb City: A Second Life City Planning No. 4 by Cao Fei. The price achieved of HKD 106,250.00 (€ 11,970.65) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 90,000.00 – 120,000.00. Other works by Cao Fei have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2009 the work Silent Curse, Nada At Home, Diversionist And City Watcher (Four Works) was auctioned for HKD 187,500.00 (€ 16,392.75).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2016 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Rmb City: A Second Life City Planning No. 4 von Cao Fei zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 106.250,00 (€ 11.970,65) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 90.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Cao Fei konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2009 die Arbeit Silent Curse, Nada At Home, Diversionist And City Watcher (Four Works) für HKD 187.500,00 (€ 16.392,75) versteigert.
