This artwork by Camille Henrot achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in New York in March last year. In the New Now auction, the work Untitled (Tropics of Love series) sold for USD 27,720.00 (€ 24,988.73) - well above the upper estimate of USD 12,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Camille Henrot; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Big Fish Small Fish sold at auction in September 2018 with the realized price of USD 47,500.00 (€ 40,870.76).
