Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Le dieu envolé by Camille Claudel was sold in the Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale auction at Christies in New York in November 2021. Here, the upper estimate of USD 80,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 87,500.00 (€ 77,522.81). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Camille Claudel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Valse, Première Version in June 2013 with an auction result of GBP 5,122,500.00 (€ 5,978,874.90).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Le dieu envolé von Camille Claudel wurde im November 2021 in der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 80.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 87.500,00 (€ 77.522,81) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Camille Claudel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Valse, Première Version im Juni 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.122.500,00 (€ 5.978.874,90).
