Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work L'Implorante, Petit Modèle by Camille Claudel was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in June 2020. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 180,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 181,250.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Camille Claudel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Valse, Première Version in June 2013 with an auction result of GBP 5,122,500.00 (€ 5,978,874.90).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit L'Implorante, Petit Modèle von Camille Claudel kam im Juni 2020 bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 180.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 181.250,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Camille Claudel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Valse, Première Version im Juni 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.122.500,00 (€ 5.978.874,90).
