In the Impressionist & Modern Art Evening Sale auction, the work La Valse, Première Version sold for GBP 5,122,500.00 (€ 5,978,874.90) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,000,000.00. This high result makes La Valse, Première Version the most expensive artwork by Camille Claudel that we have observed at auctions so far.
