The work L'Implorante, petit modèle by Camille Claudel was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in March 2021. It achieved a price of EUR 226,800.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 51 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Camille Claudel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Valse, Première Version in June 2013 with an auction result of GBP 5,122,500.00 (€ 5,978,874.90).

Die Arbeit L'Implorante, petit modèle von Camille Claudel kam im März 2021 bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 226.800,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 51 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Camille Claudel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Valse, Première Version im Juni 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.122.500,00 (€ 5.978.874,90).
