The »bidding war« ended at USD 8,125.00 (€ 5,418.83), 35% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Burt Glinn - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Maria Callas, La Scala, Italie, 1955, which sold at auction in September 2017 for EUR 11,250.00.

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 8.125,00 (€ 5.418,83) und damit 35% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Burt Glinn mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Maria Callas, La Scala, Italie, 1955 beobachtet, die im September 2017 für EUR 11.250,00 versteigert wurde.
