The »bidding war« ended at USD 1,140.00 (€ 877.06), 43% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Budd Hopkins have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work City Sun Iii in July 2020 with an auction result of USD 7,500.00 (€ 6,369.97).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 1.140,00 (€ 877,06) und damit 43% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Budd Hopkins auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit City Sun Iii im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 7.500,00 (€ 6.369,97).
