Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Partial Truth (G. 1716) by Bruce Nauman was sold in the Editions & Works on Paper auction at Phillips in New York in October this year. It changed hands for a price of USD 24,130.00 (€ 22,833.08) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bruce Nauman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Life, Death, Love, Hate, Pleasure, Pain in May 2021 with an auction result of USD 8,996,400.00 (€ 7,377,726.75).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Partial Truth (G. 1716) von Bruce Nauman wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion Editions & Works on Paper bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 24.130,00 (€ 22.833,08) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 25.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bruce Nauman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Life, Death, Love, Hate, Pleasure, Pain im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 8.996.400,00 (€ 7.377.726,75).
