Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September 2017 Sothebys in London held the auction Made in Britain, which included this untitled work by Brian Willsher. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 525.00 (€ 595.62). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Brian Willsher achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 4,560.00 (€ 6,766.81).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September 2017 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Made in Britain durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Brian Willsher zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 525,00 (€ 595,62) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Brian Willsher erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.560,00 (€ 6.766,81).
