This artwork by Brian Willsher achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in May 2006. In the 20th Century British Art auction, the work without title sold for GBP 1,680.00 (€ 2,452.25) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Brian Willsher - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in June 2007 for GBP 4,560.00 (€ 6,766.81).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Brian Willsher erzielte im Mai 2006 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century British Art wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für GBP 1.680,00 (€ 2.452,25) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 800,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Brian Willsher mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Juni 2007 für GBP 4.560,00 (€ 6.766,81) versteigert wurde.
