Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Brian Willsher could be acquired at Christies in London in January 2009 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Christie's Interiors auction, this work without title changed hands for GBP 500.00 (€ 562.83) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Brian Willsher achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 4,560.00 (€ 6,766.81).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Brian Willsher konnte im Januar 2009 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Christie's Interiors wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für GBP 500,00 (€ 562,83) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 600,00 – 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Brian Willsher erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.560,00 (€ 6.766,81).
