Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2004 a collector was able to acquire the work Expanding Form by Brian Willsher for GBP 597.50 (€ 859.97). This price was achieved in the auction 20th Century British Art at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Brian Willsher have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 4,560.00 (€ 6,766.81).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2004 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Expanding Form von Brian Willsher für GBP 597,50 (€ 859,97) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 20th Century British Art bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 600,00 – 800,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Brian Willsher auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.560,00 (€ 6.766,81).
