The work Linear Form by Brian Willsher was sold in the Made in Britain auction at Sothebys in London in March 2018. The result of GBP 1,500.00 (€ 1,707.83) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Brian Willsher - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in June 2007 for GBP 4,560.00 (€ 6,766.81).

Die Arbeit Linear Form von Brian Willsher wurde im März 2018 in der Auktion Made in Britain bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 1.500,00 (€ 1.707,83) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Brian Willsher mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Juni 2007 für GBP 4.560,00 (€ 6.766,81) versteigert wurde.
