Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Bosco Sodi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in October 2013. In the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction, the work without title sold for GBP 37,500.00 (€ 44,324.70) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bosco Sodi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in March 2015 for USD 175,000.00 (€ 162,927.10).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Bosco Sodi erzielte im Oktober 2013 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für GBP 37.500,00 (€ 44.324,70) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 15.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Bosco Sodi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im März 2015 für USD 175.000,00 (€ 162.927,10) versteigert wurde.
