Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2017 Christies in New York held the auction First Open | Post-War & Contemporary Art, which included the work Giuro Amore ("I Swear Love") by Bettina Werner. The price achieved of USD 6,000.00 (€ 5,073.57) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bettina Werner - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Salt More Precious Than Gold, which sold at auction in March 2015 for USD 21,250.00 (€ 19,784.01).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2017 führte Christies in New York die Auktion First Open | Post-War & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Giuro Amore ("I Swear Love") von Bettina Werner zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.000,00 (€ 5.073,57) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Bettina Werner mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Salt More Precious Than Gold beobachtet, die im März 2015 für USD 21.250,00 (€ 19.784,01) versteigert wurde.
