Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Bethan Huws was auctioned at Christies in London in March 2012. The price achieved of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,495.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bethan Huws achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ladies - Gentlemen in March 2019 with an auction result of GBP 52,500.00 (€ 60,935.16).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Bethan Huws kam im März 2012 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.495,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bethan Huws erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ladies - Gentlemen im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 52.500,00 (€ 60.935,16).
