Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ohne Titel (Canyon Lodge Motel). by Bertrand Meniel was auctioned at VAN HAM in June this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 10,296.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Bertrand Meniel have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Munsterbridge in June 2020 with an auction result of EUR 42,570.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Ohne Titel (Canyon Lodge Motel). von Bertrand Meniel kam im Juni diesen Jahres bei VAN HAM zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 10.296,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bertrand Meniel auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Munsterbridge im Juni 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 42.570,00.
